Peach orange smoothie

I’ve been talking a lot about our abundance of peaches from the tree in our yard. Lately, we have had the most perfectly ripe fruit but so much of it that I’m running out of ways to use them –a great problem to have. I will be so sorry to see the fruits go away in a week or so for the season.
Even though I’m not a huge fan of peach flavored things, this smoothie is so light and simple and refreshing. It’s a perfect slightly peachy treat. Fresh peaches blended with orange and banana and your favorite yogurt, makes for a delicious tropical drink. The color is so pretty and the balance of flavors is just right!
Make it your own…use your favorite yogurt – make it dairy free with almond milk or coconut milk yogurt, or add some pineapple for a really tropical taste. Either way, this is a great smoothie and the peaches have the starring roll as long as they last!
Orange Peach Smoothie
A light and summery smoothie filled with Vitamin C!

Ingredients
1 banana
1 orange (juiced)
1 large peach (fresh or frozen)
1/4 plain yogurt
1 tbsp honey
6 small ice cubes
Instructions
Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth and creamy.
